A Guide to the Lodges of Morocco
Light and hospitality have always been at the heart of the Moroccan spirit, and this same warmth is found within the Grande Loge du Maroc. In this beautiful land where the desert meets the sea, the Brotherhood is a place of deep respect and wonderful friendship. Since it first began, this kind community has been a home for men who want to help their neighbors and build a better world together. From the historic streets of Casablanca and the red walls of Marrakesh to the quiet beauty of Tangier, the Moroccan Brothers follow a path of peace and kindness. They wear beautiful aprons that tell a story of a good heart and a helping hand.
At Next Masonic, our family is truly honored to support the Moroccan Brothers with their special regalia. As a Family-Owned Business, we understand that every stitch must be made with love and care. We use the finest materials to make sure every apron and sash looks perfect, whether you are in the fresh air of the Atlas Mountains or the warm breeze of the Sahara. Our wish is to make sure every Brother feels proud and happy when he meets his friends in the Lodge.

Beautiful Buildings of the Brotherhood
-
The Casablanca Unity Hall: This is a very special and busy place where many friends meet to talk and plan how to help their local communities. It is full of light and a very friendly atmosphere.
-
The Rabat Friendship House: Located in the capital, this house is a symbol of how the Brotherhood works together with peace and respect in the heart of the country.
-
The Marrakesh Red City Lodge: A beautiful place that reminds us that friendship is as strong and warm as the Moroccan sun. It is a favorite spot for many traveling Brothers to visit.
Pillar 2: Understanding the Kind Leaders and Their Special Clothes
In every meeting, there are kind leaders who help keep the group together. They wear special clothes that show their helping roles in the circle of friends.
The Kind Leaders: Master and Wardens
-
The Lodge Leader (Master): He is the one who looks after the whole group with a kind heart. His apron is made of very soft white lambskin with a beautiful sky-blue silk border. It is a sign of his wisdom and care for his friends.
-
The Helpful Assistants (Wardens): These two friends help the leader make sure everything runs smoothly. They wear shiny silver jewels around their necks that show everyone is equal and important in the Lodge.
The Helping Hands: Secretary and Speaker
-
The Secretary: He is the person who keeps all the happy memories and plans written down. His jewel has two pens made of beautiful silver thread, showing his hard work for the group.
-
The Speaker (Orator): He is a very wise friend who shares stories of kindness and peace. He wears a lovely sash that shows he is the voice of truth and friendship for everyone.
Pillar 3: Growing Step by Step in Kindness
In Morocco, the Brothers go through three special steps. Every step is like learning a new way to be a better friend to the world.
Step 1: The New Friend (Apprentice)
When a new person joins, they are a new friend. They wear a pure white apron that is very simple and pretty. It shows they have a clean heart and are ready to learn how to be a kind neighbor.
Step 2: The Learning Brother (Fellowcraft)
In the second step, the friend grows even more. His apron gets a few more decorations. It shows he is working hard and learning how to use his hands and mind to help others.
Step 3: The Full Master Brother (Master Mason)
This is a very happy step! The apron now has beautiful blue roses and shiny thread. It is a sign that this person is a true and faithful friend who will always be there to help anyone in need.
Pillar 4: Why Our Regalia is Perfect for Morocco
Because Morocco has the desert heat and the cool mountains, we use special materials that stay beautiful and comfortable for a long time.
How Our Family Makes Your Clothes
-
Super Soft Leather: We use only the best and softest white leather. It stays bright and white for many years, even in the warm weather of Marrakesh or Agadir.
-
Beautiful Shiny Thread: Our family uses very thin gold and silver wires to make the symbols on your apron. They look 3D and catch the light perfectly when you walk.
-
The Perfect Blue: We use a very special, happy shade of blue that the Moroccan Brothers love. It is a color of peace and friendship.
Pillar 5: Helping All Traditions of the Brotherhood
Morocco is a place where people from many backgrounds come together. We make sure we have beautiful things for every tradition:
-
Traditional Style: Very elegant and clean aprons with beautiful blue borders.
-
Rose Style: Lovely red colors for those who want to follow the special stories of the higher degrees.
-
Silver Style: Beautiful silver jewels and embroidery that look very bright and clean.
