Description

Blue Lodge Master Mason Apron – White Duck Cotton Square and Compass

Presented to the Master Mason as a mark of the degree conferred, the apron is the first and most recognised piece of regalia a brother receives within the Blue Lodge. Its form is established by lodge tradition, its symbolism by the degree itself, and its construction by the practical demands of regular lodge wear across seasons of meetings, degree nights, and ceremonial occasions. This apron meets those demands with a material and finish chosen for durability and correct lodge presentation.

White cotton duck cloth forms the apron body, a fourteen ounce material known for its tensile strength and its ability to hold a flat, firm profile through extended wear without softening or losing its shape. The surface presents cleanly in the lodge room and maintains that presentation across repeated use without requiring significant care or attention. Cotton duck has a long association with working aprons across many trades, and its application to lodge regalia reflects the same practical values that the craft has always placed at the centre of its symbolism.

The square and compass with the letter G is printed at the centre of the apron face, the primary emblem of the Master Mason degree positioned clearly against the white ground. The design is applied with definition sufficient to keep the geometry of each element sharp and identifiable across the lodge room. Green polyester grosgrain ribbon trims the apron at five eighths of an inch in width, running the border with a colour that sits cleanly against the white cotton ground. Ribbon ties of thirty-six inches on each side allow the apron to be secured correctly at the waist for the duration of lodge proceedings.

Dimensions are confirmed at fourteen inches high by sixteen inches wide, the established proportions of the Blue Lodge Master Mason apron. Before dispatch, every apron undergoes individual inspection so it reaches you in full ceremonial order.
