The apron he wears from that point forward marks that service permanently and visibly within every lodge gathering he attends. This apron is built to carry that meaning with the weight it deserves.

White glossy satin forms the apron body, a ground that presents with clarity and reflects light cleanly under lodge conditions. Against this ground, hand embroidery in golden and silver bullion threads works a vinework pattern across both the flap and the body of the apron. The vinework winds with the deliberate, considered quality that hand embroidery alone delivers, each section of the pattern produced individually and with the natural variation of thread and tension that distinguishes hand-worked regalia from machine-produced alternatives. The symbolism carried within the pattern reflects the growth and wisdom the Past Master’s tenure represents within the lodge.

Navy blue velvet ribbon runs the border at two inches wide across both apron and flap, with silver metallic braid of matching width completing the inner edge. Silver metallic fringe of one and a half inches adorns the perimeter of the apron and flap, catching light through the measured movements of lodge ceremony. Blue velvet side tabs carry chrome-plated metal tassels of seven chain balls, positioned correctly at each side of the apron.

The lining is blue fine polyester fabric, fitted to the back of the apron with a glove pocket built in for practical use during lodge evenings. The belt is black elastic, forty inches in length, stretchable and adjustable to a waistline of up to fifty-four inches, closing on a golden metal snake fastener with adjuster. Dimensions are confirmed at fourteen inches high by sixteen inches wide, excluding the silver fringe.
