Sitting in the oriental chair and governing a lodge through a full term is something not every Mason reaches. This apron marks exactly that. White glossy satin body, purple chenille flap and border, golden bullion hand embroidery worked through the fabric by hand. And the moment it comes out of the case in the chapter room, the work speaks for itself.

The hand embroidery is done with golden bullion threads. Not printed. Not machine run. Hand worked, which means the texture sits differently on the satin and catches light in a way that flat embroidery does not. But what most companions do not notice until they have worn cheaper regalia a few times is how much the border construction matters. Purple chenille at 2.75 inches wide with metallic golden braid along the edge. That braid keeps the border from looking soft or unfinished.

Golden fringe runs at 1.5 inches all around the apron and flap. Side tabs in purple chenille carry the same gold fringe tassels, so the line continues without interruption from front to side. And the back is lined in fine purple polyester with a glove pocket built in.

The belt is black elastic, 40 inches long, adjustable with a golden metal snake fastener. Fits a waistline up to 54 inches. Fit is not something to think about here.
