Custom Lodge Apron Process — How We Make Yours (With Photos Before Shipping)
Most Masonic suppliers ship a generic apron and hope it is close enough. We do the opposite. Every custom apron is made in our own workshop, matched to your lodge pattern, photographed for your approval, and only then shipped with tracking. This page explains the exact process so you know what to expect.
Step 1 — You send the specification
Email or use our Custom Order Inquiry form with:
- Rank / degree (Master Mason, Past Master, specific Scottish Rite or York Rite degree, etc.).
- Clear photo or PDF of the correct apron from your lodge (or official regulation drawing).
- Preferred material (lambskin-look, cotton, moire, other).
- Size note if the wearer is taller or larger than average.
- Any required fringe, tassels, or special border.
If you only have a written description we will confirm colours and emblems with you before production starts.
Step 2 — We confirm and quote
We reply with a clear price, estimated production time, and any questions about the pattern. Lodge bulk orders receive consistent embroidery across the whole set and the Lodges10 discount.
Step 3 — Production in our workshop
Your apron is cut, assembled and hand-embroidered (or precision machine-embroidered where specified) in-house. We do not outsource the critical embroidery work. Symbols, proportions and colours are matched to the reference you supplied.
Step 4 — Photos before shipping
When the apron is finished we photograph it clearly (front, detail of embroidery, any fringe or jewel). You receive the photos by email or WhatsApp. Only after you approve do we pack and ship. If anything needs adjustment we correct it first. This single step eliminates almost all returns and disappointments.
Step 5 — Tracked worldwide shipping
We ship with full tracking to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and most other countries. You receive the tracking number as soon as the parcel leaves.
Why this process exists
Masonic regalia is not ordinary merchandise. An incorrect emblem or wrong border colour cannot be worn in lodge. By manufacturing ourselves and requiring photo approval we protect both your investment and the dignity of the Craft. That is the difference between a reseller and a manufacturer.
Typical timeline
- Confirmation & quote: 1–2 business days.
- Production: several business days depending on embroidery complexity and current order volume.
- Photo approval: usually same day you receive the images.
- Shipping: tracking provided immediately; transit time depends on destination.
